Application Process

Recruitment for US summer camps is seasonal. Applying early significantly increases your chances of securing a great role AND finding cheaper flights!

The Ideal Timeline

  • September – December: Early Bird Phase
    • Actions: Apply, interview, and complete your profile.
    • Why Apply Now? This is your highest chance of placement. Camps have the maximum number of available roles.
  • January – February: Placement Season
    • Actions: Camps actively recruit. Attend virtual job fairs and get hired.
    • Why Apply Now? Still an excellent chance of placement. The visa process begins right after you are placed.
  • March – April: The Visa Rush
    • Actions: Final placements occur. The focus shifts entirely to mandatory paperwork and Embassy appointments.
    • Why Apply Now? A good chance, but fewer roles are available. You must be ready to move quickly.
  • May: Final Cut-off
    • Actions: Only last-minute roles (if any) are available.
    • Why Apply Now? A very limited chance of placement. May require faster travel planning.
